Implementing the Code
In Herefordshire, the Compact Code of Good Practice on Funding and Procurement was launched in November 2005 and will take full effect from April 2008. The code aims to ensure that there is a real improvement in the funding and procurement of services by public sector bodies from third sector organisations.
The Compact Code Implementation Group is charged with the implementation of the Funding and Procurement Code of Good Practice (pdf document).
