What it is, Why it is important
The Register not only confers eligibility to provide services in Herefordshire, but also 'preferred provider' status, reflected in procurement arrangements.
Benefits of being on the Register include:
- Early notification of new service opportunities;
- A stronger voice for providers;
- Being in a position to take on more services; and
- More streamlined processes for accessing funding.
Inclusion on the Register is subject to accreditation and full membership of The Alliance, not automatic, and will be reviewed on a regular basis. The principles, criteria and content of the accreditation process have been drawn up by members of The Alliance eligible and wishing to join the Register, in consultation with and informed by commissioners in statutory partner agencies.
Accreditation is achieved through the acquA kite-mark. Exemption arrangements currently exist for providers already registered and inspected nationally. See acquA accreditation for more details.
See our Join Here pages for more information.
